There have been a few websites that I've visited often.
Bbrfoundation.org has helped me have hope for the future that there may someday be a cure for mental illnesses.
Save.org has given me help as a suicide survivor and gave me strength that somehow I would make it through. You can read my story there under the Coping With Loss link.
Bringchange2mind.org is a great public service announcement on how mental illness is all around us. We need to be aware and put the stigma of mental illnesses behind us.
You can explore the websites yourself through the following links:
If you have lost a loved one to suicide and would like to add their picture to our website, you can email it to kcrobbins68@gmail.com or mail the photo to our address on the contact us page. Photos will not be returned. You can also set up an appointment and I can scan the picture right to my computer.
The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation funds research in many different areas of mental health. I think most of us have been touched in some way by one or more of the following illnesses. I have attached links if you would like to learn more about the breakthroughs the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation is making in these areas.
